Vargas Stylin'

Based on Vargas's "Lady in Red" this is a study in Illustrator for a scratchboard piece I am working on for class. I love the 40's style Illustration that is done in high key contrast and felt it would be perfect to do a Vargas style pin up piece for this paticular project. The actual scratchboard piece will be slightly different as it will be reversed out and there will be less contour lines and much more value shading.

What's not to love about the Vargas girls?
